Is adult forehead acne hard to cure?

Forehead acne is a common problem during adolescence.
Many adults also suffer from this problem.
Once it develops, it is difficult to cure and takes a long time to completely heal.
In particular, if you treat acne incorrectly, it can actually make the condition worse.

What causes forehead acne?

Acne is a condition in which sebum gets clogged in the pores, causing the proliferation of acne bacteria and resulting in inflammation of the skin.
It is said that the most common cause of forehead acne is clogged pores.
The sebaceous glands are most active in the "T-zone" around the nose and forehead, so if you do not wipe away sweat frequently and wash your face carefully, sebum will clog your pores and cause forehead acne.

Other possible causes include hormonal imbalance, stress, irregular lifestyle, unbalanced diet, and dry skin.

Be careful with hair styling products

When hair that has been sprayed with hairspray or hair wax touches your forehead, the ingredients in the hair can adhere to your forehead along with sebum and dirt, causing clogged pores.
In the summer, especially, sweat can cause hair styling products to run off onto your scalp and forehead.
Be sure to wipe away sweat frequently and keep your forehead clean.
If you have acne on your forehead, we recommend that you refrain from using hair styling products for a while. Try to style your hair with your bangs up to avoid irritation caused by touching the forehead.

How to deal with adult acne

Acne is caused by the proliferation of bacteria and inflammation, so anything that will irritate the skin is a no-no.
It is important to avoid touching your skin too much and to keep it clean.
Touching or squeezing pimples excessively can leave scars, so be sure to deal with them properly if they do appear.
First, make sure to lather well and then wash and moisturize your face thoroughly.
If the area is painful or swollen, see a doctor.

Preventing Acne

① Don't leave sweat unattended . Leaving sweat unattended will not only cause sebum to form, but it will also mix with dust in the air and cause clogged pores.
Get into the habit of wiping it down frequently.

② Proper skin care
Do not wash your face with hot water.
Washing your face too much can remove too much sebum, leading to dryness and excess sebum production.
When washing your face, be sure to lather well and wash carefully without rubbing, and limit it to twice a day, in the morning and at night.

③ Get enough sleep . Disruptions to your daily routine can also affect your hormone balance.
Try to maintain a regular bedtime and wake-up time, and try to maintain a regular rhythm in your life.

4. Eat a balanced diet
Continuing to eat a greasy diet can lead to excessive sebum secretion.
Vitamin B2 plays a role in controlling sebum secretion.
It is found in a variety of foods, including seafood, meat, vegetables, beans, and fruits.
There are many familiar ingredients such as mackerel, natto, yogurt, and avocado, so be sure to try to incorporate them into your diet.
Other nutrients that help prevent and improve acne include vitamin B6, which prevents dermatitis, and vitamin C, which has excellent antioxidant properties and removes active oxygen that promotes inflammation.

Keep your skin clean, eat a balanced diet, and maintain a healthy lifestyle to maintain acne-free skin.
